WEDNESDAY’S WHATEVER: The Triffids are one of those bands defined by the length of their career. It’s not a fair definition as their output is greater than most bands achieve. The fact remains that David McComb’s death at 36 ended what could have been one of the most impressive bands Australia has produced.
